We are a wildlife preservation & promotion project on a Mid Devon farm promoting nature friendly farming and encouraging biodiversity.

At our 400 acre farm & woodland areas we farm extensively with sustainability and nature at the core of our ethos. We have a variety of different environments on the farms, large open grassland fields, small well hedged fields, herbal leys, culm grassland, mature oak woodland, a couple of ponds, streams and the River Taw.

Our project is managed and the data collated and translated by The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG), they also help to advise us on habitat creation and improvement on the area. We are working with many organisations interested in helping with our project and are also hoping to involve local schools and youth groups with wildlife walks and monitoring. If you are interested in getting involved please head to our Get Involved page.

The long term aims of our project are to boost wildlife numbers and the variety of species we document, increasing the populations over time. We also wish to demonstrate to the public, and other farmers, that wildlife can be promoted within a productive farming system.
